Family Compassionate Fund

Family Compassionate Fund is established on the basis of love and mutual concern.  As such, we call upon you to contribute RM2.00 for each departed Distributor, through monthly bonus deductions during the month. The total sum collected will then be passed to their beneficiary.   We strongly believe that your cooperation and participation in this program will enhance the spirit of mutual help.  Though the amount contributed by you is small, but when all members put their effort together, we can generate a substantial fund for the bereaved family.  

Family Compassionate Fund is compulsory for all Citidirect International Distributors. It was officially established in July, 2006. Let us work hand in hand to create a more meaningful partnership that is filled with love, care and concern.

Terms and Conditions

1. Qualification for participation

Family Compassionate Fund (“FCF”) is open to all Citidirect International Distributors only.

2. Contribution amount

Each Distributor contributes RM2.00 for each deceased Distributor through monthly bonus deductions.  The total sum collected by Citidirect International will then be passed on to the name beneficiary within 90 days from the date of acceptance of all valid documents as required. If 2 Distributors passed away in a particular month, then RM4 will be deducted. Contributions from each Distributor in a particular month are limited to RM20 regardless of the number of demised Distributors.

3. Distribution of Family Compassionate Fund

If less than 10 Distributors passed away in a particular month, each named beneficiary will get RM2.00 contribution from each Distributors. If more than 10 Distributors pass away in that particular month, the funds collected will be equally divided amongst all named beneficiaries.

Example: No. of Distributors: 20,000 persons

Total amount collected: 20,000 x RM20.00 = RM400, 000.00

No. of death: 20 persons

Compassionate Fund entitlement: RM20,000.00 per named beneficiary.

4. Beneficiaries

4.1 One participant is allowed to nominate one beneficiary only; the name of beneficiary nominated must be stated as per his/her Identity Card or International Passport.

4.2 Beneficiaries must be aged 18 and above.

4.3 Beneficiaries must be an immediately family member of Distributor. Immediate family member is defined as:-

4.3.1. Parents and children

4.3.2. Spouses

4.3.3. Siblings

4.4 The same name may be nominated by more than 1 Distributor as their named beneficiary must be a member of the immediate family.

4.5  In the case of changing of beneficiary, a written  notice with the present of  witness must be submitted. Signature on the notice must be same as the application form submitted. If the Distributor and the beneficiary deceased at the same time, the Guardian of “Letter of administration’ of the deceased Distributor will receive the compassionate fund

5. Rules and Regulations of Fund Entitlement

5.1  Register as a Distributor in Citidirect International. Submit the FCF Application Form to Citidirect International either by fax or email. The validity of FCF is six months from the date of participation and prior to death.

5.2  Sponsor at least five direct Distributors and perform monthly Personal Maintenance of 10BV prior to death.

6. Partnership/ company registered PD

All participants who registered under partnership or company in Citidirect International will be required to have a written notice to appoint their FCF Distributor and beneficiary. Distributor must be a natural person whilst beneficiaries can be a natural person or Company.  Upon the demise of the appointed Distributor as notified above, the named beneficiary will receive the FCF.

7. Exception

The FCF is only applicable to natural and accident death. Death cause by committing suicide, participation in high risk activities, natural disasters, and those involve in illegal activities or crimes will not be entitled in this fund. FCF will only be paid to beneficiary upon the receipt and verification of the death certificate of the deceased Distributor.

8. Right of the Company

The Company reserved the right to change the rules and regulations of the FCF without prior notice to all PD.
